Ana Marques

Ana Marques holds a PhD in Materialities of Literature (University of Coimbra), with a Master’s in Teaching Portuguese and French in Secondary Education (Universidade Nova de Lisboa), and a degree in Modern Languages and Literatures – Portuguese and French (Universidade Nova de Lisboa). She has developed her research in the areas of Theory of Literature and Media Studies, with a special focus on the effects of computation on literary forms and practices, reflected in her PhD thesis on algorithmic poetics. In the last five years, she was an FCT fellow in the PhD Program in Materialities of Literature (FLUC, 01/10/2013-20/09/2018); teacher of Portuguese (Gustave Eiffel Professional School – Amadora, 08/10/2018-30/04/2019); visiting fellow of the Cascais Interartes Chair (D. Luís I Foundation, 01/01/2019-30/12/2019); and research fellow at the Center for Portuguese Literature (FLUC, 1/07/2019-31/12/2021), where she currently develops her activity on the LdoD Archive and the critical reception of the Book of Disquiet by Fernando Pessoa/Bernardo Soares. She has also curated exhibitions (2015; 2017 and 2019); organized a conference and an exhibition (2019); was a member of the scientific committee of conferences and publications; and has regularly published and participated in scientific events.
