Elena Soressi
Elena Soressi was born in Milan and grew up in the Italian Alps landscape. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages and Literatures and a Master of Arts in European and Extraeuropean Languages and Literatures from Milan State University. In 2017, thanks to an Erasmus + scholarship, she studied for a semester in Porto University. In 2019, she took part in a project with Milan State University, the University of North Bengal and Mahishadal College in Midnapur, participating in a semester long seminar about India and ecocriticism and presenting a paper in two students’ conferences in India. She volunteered in the teenagers’ education field and is passionate about painting and dancing. She is now a PhD student in Materialities of Literature at Coimbra University and she is developing a project about the mediation of orality in Luanda’s contemporary literature.
