Sandra Guerreiro Dias
Sandra Guerreiro Dias has a PhD in Literary Studies and Contemporary History (funded by FCT) and is the author of the first monograph on poetry and performance in Portugal, a work titled O Corpo como Texto (2016). She has a pre-Bologna MA in Literature and History, with a thesis on Portuguese literature in the post-25 April period, and a BA in Portuguese Studies, specializing in Teaching. She is a Full Member Researcher at the Centre for Portuguese Literature (CLP UC – Coimbra) in the group “Digital Mediation and Materialities of Literature”, a Collaborating Researcher at The Margarida Losa Institute for Comparative Literature (FLUP – Porto), in the Research Group “Intermedialities”, and at the NOVA Institute of Communication (Nova FCSH – Lisbon), in the Research Group “Performance & Cognition”. Since 2016, she collaborates with the Po-ex.net – Digital Archive of Portuguese Experimental Poetry (UFP – Porto). She is a guest faculty at the School of Education – Polytechnic Institute of Beja, where she teaches Portuguese Language and Literature. She is a member of the Red Internacional de Universidades Lectoras (RIUL), the Electronic Literature Organisation (ELO) and the Portuguese Teachers’ Association (APP). Her current research areas are Portuguese Studies, Literary and Intermedia Studies, Digital Mediation, Performance Studies, and Children’s Experimental Literature. She has presented papers in these areas in Portugal and abroad and is a regular guest speaker at scientific events and seminars. She was a member of several poetic collectives, performing poetry in associations, festivals, and bookshops. As a poet, she has published in magazines and books of experimental poetry.
