She received her PhD in Materialities of Literature from the University of Coimbra (2021). In her research, she has analysed the correspondence as well as the hand-printed poetry books by the Brazilian poet João Cabral de Melo Neto in his typographical experiment titled “O livro inconsútil”. Based on this archival research, she discusses the impact of this experiment, and the effects of its erasure, on Portuguese and Brazilian literary criticism since the 1940s. She is a teacher, copyeditor, and a mother. In 2011, at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, she studied typography and textual editing. Since then, she has been focusing her research on the reading of materiality as an enunciative medium, in both analogue and digital media. She is interested in poetic artefacts, especially those that are handmade and make use of typographical techniques as a process of symbolic appropriation. She is a team member of the project “ReCodex: Forms and Transformations of the Book”, and she identifies with Anglo-American research approaches pursued by theorists such as D.F. McKenzie, Jerome McGann and Johanna Drucker.

Ciência Vitae: https://www.cienciavitae.pt/portal/9F13-A8B0-F924

ORCID: https://orcid.org/0000-0002-7561-2955

["post-355","member","type-member","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry
["GET
