LdoD Critical Reading

How can we model and analyse the collective reading of The Book of Disquiet over time by a community of critical readers? That is the question behind the new facet of the LdoD Archive.

The “LdoD Critical Reading” module is a tool for exploring readings of Fernando Pessoa’s Book of Disquiet. It has a twofold aim: to bring together a sample selection of the reception of the Book of Disquiet; and to create a computationally processable network of textual relations between documents. Relations can be grouped into the following sets: networks of relations linking essays to the Book of Disquiet and to other texts, and networks of relations linking essays to each other.
