Creative Workshops: Book of Disquiet

These online creative workshops are meetings organized by the Fragments in Practice project for the reading and dynamic appropriation of fragments from the Book of Disquiet, as well as the collaborative creation of virtual thematic editions and the writing of new poetic texts by using the LdoD Archive. The workshops are open to a diverse audience: common readers, fans of Fernando Pessoa, the academic community (with the participation of students and teachers), artists, producers, writers and the simply curious. In October 2020, our sessions are also supported by the Agostinho da Silva Chair and the Desassossego Digital Brasília project. Participate!

These creative workshops are part of the Fragmentos em Prática and Operation Room, projects, affiliated with the Centre for Portuguese Literature at the University of Coimbra (CLP-UC), the Doctoral Programme in Materialities of Literature (MatLit), a programme supported by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), and the MATLIT LAB: Humanities Laboratory. The Agostinho da Silva Chair and the Desassossego Digitalproject (Instagram #desassossegobrasilia) are affiliated with the Faculty of Letters at the University of Brasília.

The second session will have as its theme – given our current state of introspection and isolation in the face of the global pandemic – the sense of movement, encounter and poetic production fostered by the “place” of Disquiet.
